Edit Pages

There are two kinds of elements you can edit in a page: Audience.foundation elements, and CorelDraw Layout elements.

Audience Elements

Audience.foundation elements are all available in Page Details (Settings). To modify any of those settings, open the page in Audience.foundation (select it in the tree, or double-click on it in the page pane) and make your changes.

For example, to change the page content quickly, select the Text and Graphics tab, and simply type the information in the available fields, or if you are required to submit a file (a photo, for example), click on the field, and then select the drop-down menu or the browse function (…) at the right of the field. Always click (Refresh) after making changes.

Tagged Corel Items

The fields available under the Text and Graphics tab of a page or template are those that have been tagged in CorelDraw during the creation of the template or page. To add an additional text or graphic field, for example, one has to open the page or template in CorelDraw. See Tag Fields in CorelDraw for more information.

See Templates and Pages: Linked or not Linked for more information.

Source Layout Elements (Changes in CorelDraw)

Modifications to any of the following are done in the page's Source Layout, in CorelDraw:

  • font information, including type, size, and colour;
  • background colour
  • size and placement of elements on the page
  • text or graphic fields (not the content, but the fields themselves)

To modify the source layout in CorelDraw:

1.Right-click on the page in the Page Pane and select 'Edit Layout'.

2.The page opens in CorelDraw. See CorelDraw for instructions on how to modify or create new layout elements. If the page does not open in CorelDraw, continue to the next steps.

3.You have received the following message: "This page references a shared layout. To change the layout you must edit the template it was created from or make a unique copy of the layout. Would you like to make a unique copy of the layout and edit it now"?

  • Select Yes if you want to disconnect this page from its template. The layout will no longer be shared, and this page will have its own unique layout.
  • Select No if you want the page to remain linked to the template.

4.If you still want to make your modifications, you must make then on the template, and not this individual page. To find the linked template:

  • Right-click in the Page Pane and select View Report.
  • Repeat in the Template Pane.
  • In the Source Layout column you will see the name of your page's layout.
  • Find that same layout in the template pane, right-click on the template and select Edit Layout.

See CorelDraw for instructions on how to modify or create new layout elements.
